Welcome to My
Newly Renovated Website!
Hi there! In case you hadn't guessed, I'm Ty Hager, and I've been creating all sorts of stuff over the past...um...forty years or so.
I began writing and doing stand-up comedy back in the 80s, then transitioned to radio, then to songwriting and playing/recording music (even had an indie record deal for a couple of albums in the early 2000s). In 2012, I wrote my first novel, "Diary of a Dead Guy," which received stellar reviews but didn't earn much. (My second novel should be coming out in 2025/early 2026 - I don't expect to make much from that either, but it sure is fun to write)!

"In a book reminiscent of a Christopher Moore novel, this one lets you experience it all: laughter, tears, laugh/tears, a great multilayered plot, a love story, a mystery, a hilarious tragedy, the creeptastic possession of a child by a newly-departed soul, & an ending you’ll never see coming. Highly recommend this gem."

For nearly the past decade, I've been writing content for others - from short bios and profiles and website pages to full-length books and memoirs. Also pretty darned fun and gratifying. And it actually pays bills and stuff.
"Ty was awesome. He went above and beyond. I would definitely use him again for any writing project. It was like Christmas every time he finished a chapter for me. He is an awesome storyteller and really listened to my story and did a great job taking what I said and putting it into written words."

When I'm not writing - either for myself or others - I also get a kick out of helping folks build Weebly Square websites to promote their businesses and art.
"Ty is an absolute joy to work with and a serious professional"

Finally, just for sh*ts 'n giggles, I've included pages for my MUSIC and some of the VIDEOS I've created for other songwriters and artists. I'm not pursuing either of these for a living anymore (apart from a full-length opera I wrote and composed - I'll get that puppy on the stage eventually), but they're still fun to listen to/watch!
