THIS AIN'T YER GRANDMA'S OPERA...
DEAD GUY OPRY is a one-of-a-kind Country-Rock/Comedy opera, adapted by Ty Hager from his novel, "Diary of a Dead Guy," about a slain country singer channeling his memoirs through a redneck kid as the singer's widow stands trial for the murder.
Plenty of laughs, a bit of suspense, and more cuss words than you can shake a stick at - and it's all set to music!

With instrumental tracks nearly completed in Nashville by veteran producer/instrumentalist/artist Sean Patrick McGraw, Dead Guy Opry is currently in development as an indie film project in NE Oklahoma, where Hager - who will also be directing - plans to recruit his production team and cast of singers/actors from the area's vibrant creative community.
